Inspiration.

Every monster has been through a lot and tends to be immensly misunderstood. They have all experienced lonliness and confusion. They are often judged to be terrible, horrifying creatures that have no feelings because they have power and do not know how to use it, and they also maintain a frightening outward appearance that scares most people away. They become hurt that no one is able to love them, which turns into searing anger, often times causing them to deal with their pain in an immoral way. Alienation of society can do that to a monster.

We have seen every monster at their absolute worst; heard every tragic, traumatizing tale. Burdened by these stories, we decided to capture them out of a cruel world where they do not belong and take them in as our responsibility, showing them love and care for the first time. We are the only ones who understand that they are misunderstood and have little options of what to do or where to go, so they resort to violence. The average human is easily intimidated by the threats these monsters carry, so in fear they retaliate in a tactless manner, upsetting the monster and often setting them out on a fanatical rage. We all know that never ends well.

Our solution? We find them and remove them from the rest of society where they are easily hurt, and we take them to a separate, safe community in which they can learn and grow together, finally beginning to define right from wrong.
